This notice explains how personal data is processed when you use zassco.de or contact us. Last updated: 6 November 2026.

2. Website hosting and access data

Our website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you access the website, technical access information is processed. According to IONOS, this includes the requested page or file, referrer, browser type and version, operating system, device type, access time and an anonymised IP address. IONOS states that these visitor data are retained for eight weeks.

The processing supports the secure, stable and technically reliable operation of our website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). An agreement on data processing forms part of our contractual terms with IONOS.

3. IONOS WebAnalytics

Our hosting provider supplies WebAnalytics for aggregate website statistics and technical optimisation. According to IONOS, information is obtained from log files or a pixel, without the use of cookies, and IP addresses are anonymised immediately after transmission. Statistics may cover requested pages, referring websites, browser and device types, and access times. IONOS states that no personally identifiable visitor profiles are created.

These statistics help us maintain and improve the website. Where personal data are processed, we rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not currently use separate marketing tracking or third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics.

4. Contact by email

When you contact us by email, we process your contact details and the content of your message to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, continue business communication. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to enquiries concerning a contract; otherwise, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies (legitimate interest in answering business enquiries).

We use Microsoft 365 for business email, a service of Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Ireland. Access or processing by Microsoft group entities outside the European Economic Area cannot be entirely excluded in the operation of the service. Microsoft provides appropriate safeguards, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses. For further information, see Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

We retain enquiries only for as long as necessary to respond to them or to manage the resulting business relationship, subject to statutory retention obligations.

5. Cookies and external content

The website itself does not use marketing cookies or embed third-party fonts, maps, videos or social media widgets. Its mobile menu does not store data on your device. According to IONOS, WebAnalytics also operates without cookies.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may have rights of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). Under Art. 21 you may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Any consent may be withdrawn at any time with future effect.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, including the North Rhine-Westphalia Data Protection Commissioner.

This notice will be updated if the services used or our data processing practices change.
